The centerpiece of this Gawharet El Fan darbuka is a large 12-point star sunburst rosette, set into a crushed mother-of-pearl body and flanked by brown leaf- and eye-shaped inlay panels. It's the most elaborate single motif of any branded piece in this collection, and it carries the maker's brass medallion badge to confirm it.
